TPE material has been widely used and is known as the third generation rubber material
From the perspective of the rubber and plastic industry, TPE is the name of a thermoplastic elastomer material and the collective term for all thermoplastic elastomers. TPE materials have the characteristics of high strength, high resilience, and injection molding processing, with a wide range of applications, environmental protection, non-toxic safety, and good coloring properties.
The hardness range of TPE materials is wide, ranging from an ultra soft 0A to a harder 95A. Through special formulas and processing methods, the hardness can be further reduced or increased; Its tensile resistance is excellent, and its tensile strength at break is better than PVC material. In addition, TPE materials have excellent weather resistance, can withstand high and low temperatures (-50-100 ℃), and some materials can withstand high temperatures up to 150 ℃.
In terms of processing, TPE materials do not require vulcanization to be processed, and can be formed separately or coated with other plastic materials for secondary molding, improving production efficiency and reducing energy consumption. In addition, TPE materials themselves do not contain halogens or rubber plastic proteins, and toxic plasticizers are not added during the processing, which does not release toxic substances. Moreover, the materials can be recycled and meet environmental requirements.
TPE materials have been widely used in industries such as automobiles, healthcare, daily necessities, adult goods, food, sports goods, etc., with countless designed products, known as the third generation rubber materials.
In addition to the above characteristics, TPE materials also have excellent grease resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and adhesion to most materials such as plastic and rubber. This makes TPE materials widely used in many fields, such as in the automotive industry, as sealing strips, cushioning materials, protective materials, etc; In the medical industry, it can be used as a raw material for medical equipment such as catheters and gloves; In the daily necessities industry, it can be used as a raw material for daily necessities such as shoe soles and plastic bags.
